CONDUCTING

GIANMARIA GRIGLIO Winner of a fellowship at the Bayreuther Festspiele, Gianmaria Griglio’s conducting has been praised for his “energy” and “fine details”, quickly captivating his audiences time and again with his vibrant and dynamic interpretations. For iClassical Academy he created the "Pass the Baton" course.   

GUILLERMO SCARABINO was the Director of Artistic Production of the Teatro Colon Buenos Aires for many years. He is a well-respected conductor and was Juror member at several editions of the International Alberto Ginastera Composition Competitions. For iClassical Academy, he recorded two courses and a musical jewel "The Art of Conducting."

JUKKA-PEKKA SARASTE has established himself as one of the outstanding conductors of his generation, demonstrating remarkable musical depth and integrity. From the Dakapp Collection and available on iClassical Academy, he recorded Orchestra Performance Masterclasses and a concert with the HeMu Orchestra Lausanne.

GUITAR

JUAN MANUEL RUIZ PARDO is a performer, arranger and teacher from Murcia, Spain. He was awarded to follow postgraduate studies with Robert Brightmore at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (London). Juan won 1st Prize at the XIV Concurso Internacional “Martín Códax” (Cuenca). Juan created a course for pop-songs: four arrangements to learn online.   

GORAN KRIVOKAPIC Professor of guitar at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Germany, the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen (Netherlands) and at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven, Belgium. Goran's Masterclasses are now available on our site.

MUSIC&CAREER

IRMA DE JONG is the executive director of iClassical Academy and is also managing director and founder of Cicerone Music & Art. Irma works in the classical music field for more than 28 years, starting her career as a PR and marketing assistant at the Limburg Symphony Orchestra Maastricht in 1992. She created Music Promotion course for musicians.

MIKE VACCARO is a professional musician, teacher, and businessman with more than 40 years of experience. Mike created a course, "Music & Business" for iClassical Academy.

ANTHONY SCHULTZ  has been an audio engineer, music producer and composer for more than 30 years as owner/operator of Big T Productions in Boston.  He was an Assistant Professor at The New England Institute of Art from 1997-2017, specializing in Audio Technology and Computer Music and has been an Instructor of Music Production for Berklee Online since Jan. 2016.

JERE B Founder, Chairman, and Production Director of a Multimedia Production company comprised of North Eastern Ohio Musicians and Music Business Executives involved in multimedia entertainment at all levels.

Jere is the author of the Best Selling Book, "The Path of the EntreMusician" 9 Keys To Unlock Your Mindset, Discipline & Focus." specifically focused on singers, songwriters, musicians, recording artists, producers, and creatives of every genre.

MUSIC HISTORY

ZAFER YUMLU active Turkish Musician and Performer, Horn Teacher, and Ambassador Anatolian Melodies. Zafer Yümlü currently teaching music to his students at the “Ensemble Feverish Music International Culture Agency” as its Founder/Director, organizing master classes with prominent international musicians. He created the course  "Anatolian Tunes and Horn from Mesopotamia to Europe."

VIOLA/PEDAGOGY

PIRKKO SIMOJOKI is currently a viola teacher at the Sibelius Academy and the Metropolia University in Helsinki, and the music institutes of the cities of Espoo and Porvoo. Ms Simojoki is also a highly acclaimed teacher of music pedagogy specializing in positive approaches to teaching music to children. She created a course for teachers on "The art of teaching music to children".

DEBORAH BARETT PRICE is a Performer, Conductor, Music Director, and principal violist. A respected performer, Debbie currently serves as principal violist of Opera Project Columbus and the McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra. She created a pedagogy video series course for teachers on "Breathe Together, Move Together, Play Together".

TRUMPET  

MARCO PRIEROBON Principal Trumpet of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Orchestra of Rome and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra of Florence. Trumpet Professor at the Conservatories of Bolzano and Reggio Emilia, Italy. First Prize winner at many international competitions.

RAM OREN Associate Principal Trumpet with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra since 1991. Professor at the Buchman Mehta Music School of the Tel Aviv University and at the Tel Aviv Conservatory.  Presenter and lecturer of the IPO exclusive kids educational program Key Note.

SERGIU CARSTEA Graduated from the Paris Conservatory and an accomplished trumpet player from Moldova. Professor at the National University of Music in Bucharest and the Faculty of Music, University of West Timisoara, Romania. Founder and president of the Association "Romanian Brass Society”.

TAMIR AKTA Prize winner of many important competitions, Akta completed his trumpet academic training at the Paris Conservatory. In addition to his performing schedule as soloist and composer, he teaches trumpet and supervises an elementary school music education project in Raanana, Israel.

FRITS DAMROW  was the principal trumpet of the famous Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam and currently serves as Professor for Trumpet at the Zürich University of the Arts. Besides his long career as an orchestral musician, he appeared as a soloist with many international orchestras. As a chamber musician, he has been active in several groups and ensembles.

JAMES WILT joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic in March 2003 as Associate Principal Trumpet. Before this, he spent 14 years as the Associate Principal Trumpet of the Houston Symphony and held positions with the New York Philharmonic, the Denver Symphony, the Rochester, and the Dayton Philharmonic.
