Prokofiev Concerto No. 2 in Gm, Op. 63, 1st mov

Teacher:
Klaidi Sahatci

Composer:
Prokofiev

Lesson Description

Premiered in 1935, this piece fully expresses many aspects of change and multiplicity, which are present in the majority of Prokofiev's music. This movement begins with a sense of metric imbalance and progresses through a full-fledged G minor melody, eventually punctuated by abrupt changes in tonality, rhythmic pulse, and mood.
