Bio

Marco Pierobon is an accomplished Italian trumpet player and professor. He won first prize in international competitions of Passau, Germany, Imperia and Aqui Terme.

For nearly a decade, Marco is the “Principal Trumpet” of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra of Florence and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Orchestra of Rome, and has collaborated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Filarmonica della Scala Orchestra.

Marco Performs Solo Around the World

He has performed as soloist with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Isaac Karabtchevsky, Etienne Siebens, Friedrich Heider, Guenther Neuhold, Ralph Gothoni in Japan, China, Russia, Europe and South America and USA.

In 2014 he has conducted the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra and the "Haydn" Orchestra, Bolzano, Italy.

A Recording Artist

Marco Pierobon has recorded two solo CDs and a didactic DVD about brass instruments.

He held Master Classes America, Asia and throughout Europe. With the Gomalan Brass Quintet, Marco has performed throughout the world, and published four CDs and two DVDs for Accademia 2008, Summit Records and Naxos.

Since 2007, Marco is trumpet professor at the Conservatories of Bolzano and Reggio Emilia, Italy.
