As for all his Sonatas and Partitas, it's one of the most beautiful examples of polyphonic music for soloists, and contains elements like great expressivity, freedom in tempo (rubato), and use of ornaments which give this music a specific character. Main aims developed by the teacher:
1) Managing Dissonances
2) The "breathing" timing
3) Synchronizing positions
4) Upstrokes vs Downstrokes.
