Masterclass description

As for all his Sonatas and Partitas, it's of the most beautiful examples of polyphonic music for soloists, and contains elements like great expressivity, freedom in tempo (rubato), and use of ornaments which give to this music a specific character. Main aims developed by the teacher: 1) Managing Dissonances 2) The "breathing" timing 3) Synchronizing positions 4) Upstrokes vs Downstrokes. Professor: Hagai Shaham Student: Suzan Yanki Karatas
