Hummel Concerto in E - 1st Mov

A hymn to happiness and hope in the future, as this Hummel Trumpet Concerto was written in December 1803 and performed for the first time on January 1st, 1804. Originally written in E Major, it's often performed in E-flat Major because this key makes the fingering less difficult with modern E-flat and B-flat trumpets. That is why our teacher also chose E-flat Major for this masterclass.
