- Check and learn how to position your head, elbows and knees.
- Keep your chest up to optimise your breathing technique, to avoid tension and to allow the air to move freely.
- Learn to not blow but to release the air and to play like a singer.
- Learn to move the appropriate amount of air to achieve a free sound and efficiency.
- Use singing as an example for playing the trumpet.
