I Prelude II Allemande III Courante

Teacher:
Silvia Chiesa

Composer:
Bach

Lesson Description

Bach Cello suites are some of the most frequently performed and recognizable solo compositions ever written for cello. Bach most likely composed them during the period 1717–23, and as well as he did for violin, he combined a wide range of demanding phrases. Master Teacher Silvia Chiesa examines the compositions particularly from the perspective of dynamics and indicates step by step the cardinal points which are the fundamentals to achieve excellent performance, still respecting the different features that every player has.
Assistant Andrea Nocerino.
