Farah Mammadova is an accomplished piano teacher with a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Baku Music Academy and 18 years of professional teaching experience at Bliss Music Academy (UK), and London Pianoforte Academy.
The Basements
Since 2007, she has been teaching at the Baku Musical College, where she primarily works with advanced students. She specializes in preparing students for conservatory entrance examinations, festivals, and public performances, guiding them to develop a strong technical foundation, refined musical expression, and thoughtful artistic interpretation. Under her guidance, many students have gone on to pursue further studies at conservatoires and have achieved strong results in music examinations.
Career development and ABRSM
From 2022 to 2025, Farah expanded her teaching career internationally, working at Bliss Music Academy (UK). There, she prepared students for ABRSM examinations ranging from Prep Test to Grade 8 and post-diploma levels. Her teaching emphasises musicality, technical precision, and confident performance, helping many of her students achieve distinctions. In addition to examination preparation, she has coached students for concerts, recitals, and other public performances, fostering both technical skill and stage presence.
The extended development of teaching
Since September 2025, Farah has been teaching at London Pianoforte Academy (UK), where she continues to work to this day. In this role, she continues to share her extensive teaching experience and deep musical expertise, inspiring students to reach their full potential. Her teaching approach combines rigorous technical training with a focus on musical expression and stylistic understanding, ensuring that students not only perform pieces accurately but also interpret them with clarity and artistry. Farah is passionate about nurturing the next generation of pianists, providing them with the guidance and encouragement necessary to excel both in examinations and on the concert stage.

With 18 years of professional experience, Farah remains dedicated to fostering a love of music, supporting students at every stage of their musical journey, and helping them achieve success through discipline, artistry, and confidence. In addition to her teaching, Farah is an accomplished pianist and occasionally performs in recitals and concerts, bringing her own pianistic experience into her teaching to inspire and guide her students.
