Course description
In this course, Armenian cellist Alexander Chaushian takes you through Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Saint-Saëns repertoire.  A Cello Professor at the Royal College of Music in London, he also is an Internationally acclaimed performer. Alexander is the Artistic Director of both the International Pharos Chamber Music Festival in Cyprus and the Yerevan Music Festival in Armenia. In addition, he performs regularly at festivals worldwide as a soloist and in chamber music projects.

After his initial studies in Armenia, Alexander Chaushian studied in the UK at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. He then pursued advanced studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, Berlin. He is a prize-winner in numerous prestigious competitions.
