Course description
From a bird's eye view, you will dive into the details of Liszt's musical material in his "Grande Sonate" and learn everything you need to know about it to perform this piece in a way that is as close as possible to Liszt's intentions.
The structure of this course is unique in that it does not go through the piece in chronological order but tracks down all the motifs and themes of the entire sonata individually. This way, you can examine and experience individual motifs or themes in their manifestations across the whole sonata.
