Luigi Boccherini was a Cello virtuoso player from Lucca, Italy. The cello being his own instrument, it is not surprising to learn that Boccherini composed over 30 sonatas for cello and basso continuo.From these the six Sonatas published in England in 1771, and later transcribed with accompaniment by modern piano, are considered his most important work as regards Cello, and Maria Tchaikovskaya chosed the No. 3 to show the essence of his composing concepts through interpretation
